    We are searching for a highly motivated Attorney with strong contract drafting and negotiation skills and public company experience to join our in house legal staff in a dynamic role where you will be responsible for legal matters that pertain to the organization under the direction of the General Counsel.

    • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to work closely with Global Supply Chain and Global Sales organizations from process inception to closure.
    • Provides a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to a number of in-house clients.
    • Attentive to legal issues involving the organization’s government and regulatory compliance in project execution.
    • Demonstrates experience in general corporate matters, including corporate organization, drafting transactional documents, license agreements and contract management, including with respect to international transactions.
    • Experience with public company disclosure matters and SEC reporting desired.
    • Experience with regulatory agencies and filings including but not limited to the Connecticut Siting Council, the Connecticut Public Utility Regulatory Authority, the New York State Energy Research and Development Agency, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, The New England Independent System Operator, the California Energy Commission, and/or the California Independent System Operator a plus.


    Education:  J.D., licensed to practice law in the State of CT and a member in good standing of the CT Bar preferred. A license to practice in another state will be considered, with admission to the CT Bar or achievement of Authorized House Counsel status within six months of employment.


    Experience:   A minimum of 2 years as a licensed practicing attorney. Law firm experience prior to in-house strongly preferred.

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

    • Must be able to work at a desk, on a computer, for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to move about buildings to attend meetings
    • Must be able to travel locally (approximately 20%) to attend external meetings
