Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Supply Chain Organization. The successful candidate will play an integral role to ensure a level and uninterrupted flow of material to support our internal customers in alignment with the Master Schedule.

 

  • Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
  • Determines material requirements from the Master Production Schedule.
  • Performs analysis to determine safety stock levels based upon defined inventory targets and supplier lead-time.
  • Manages the schedule and changes required in our ERP system on a routine basis; minimum weekly, adhering to policies regarding changes to the schedule.
  • Actively participates in meetings to keep up to date on issues related to production, manufacturing, engineering, planning, new product introductions, metrics, and other related Supply Chain issues.
  • Communicates with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

 

Education:   High School Diploma (or GED) is required. A.S. or B.S. degree in Business or related discipline preferred.

 

Experience:   A minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management is required.

 

The successful candidate will have prior planning experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a make to order or engineered product.

 

Candidate must be knowledgeable in:

 

  • ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ORACLE, Microsoft AX preferred)
  • Production planning, demand planning & scheduling
  • Inventory Management
  • MS Office: Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 

Candidate must have:

 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to change with urgency
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and independently
  • Ability to respond quickly to change and with urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

 

Must be able to work physically in an office, warehouse and shop floor environment, wearing required personal protective equipment as designated.
